24 Hour Rule
Please be aware that Jamaica Tan is dedicated to teaching our clients the SMART way of tanning.
That is, Safe, Moderate And Responsible Tanning.
To that end, we do our best to follow State laws and regulations set forth to protect you, our client.
K.S.A. 65-1925 and K.S.A. 65-1924 mandate that we "ensure that consumers do not exceed the tan time indicated by the
[tanning bed] manufacturer."
It takes 48 hours for your body to fully process and recover from the effects of exposure to
Ultraviolet radiation providing you didn't burn. Pink is a burn and a burn is an injury!
So to comply with the manufacturer and the State,
tanners must wait a minimum of 24 hours between tanning sessions.
That is 24 hours, not just "some time" the next day! This is to protect you from risk of burning.
